Following the Illuminated Path: How Cultural Catalysts™ Was Born

I was accepted to grad school with a specific thesis: connecting consciousness to systemic change.

Then I connected with Dr. Richard Boyatzis - the Harvard researcher who literally wrote The Science of Change. He showed me his Intentional Change Theory already proves that lasting transformation happens through resonant relationships characterized by shared vision, shared compassion, and shared energy.

Coupled with Dr. Benjamin Hardy reading my thesis, wanting to support it, and advising me to focus on his Science of Scaling, I realized we had the HOW - how transformation happens and how to scale it exponentially.

What was missing was the scale itself - Dr. David Hawkins' scale of consciousness that actually measures where leaders and organizations operate.

That's when I had the epiphany: I deferred my acceptance.

Grad school was optimizing for something that shouldn't exist.

The research was done. What we needed was implementation - integrating all three frameworks into a living movement.

So my business and life partner Tracy and I co-founded Cultural Catalysts™, using this neuroscience to catalyze culture at fractal levels, from individual to dyad to team to organization to community to country.

​We're not teaching theory. We're building the social identity group for leaders who are already catalyzing culture, giving them the framework, language, and resonant community to do this work at scale.
